I am a sustainability expert with a background in economics and environmental management, educator, trainer, and transformative team coach. For 25 years, I have worked in sustainable business models and responsible corporate governance, striving for a better world. I combine sustainability development with organic organizational development and have extensive experience in sustainable procurement, stakeholder engagement, reporting, strategy development, business ethics, and diversity and inclusivity.
With international experience, I have conducted more than 25 sustainability audits worldwide (e.g., China, India, USA), gaining hands-on insight into supply chain sustainability.
As a lecturer, I teach at Corvinus University of Budapest MBA and Executive MBA programs, as well as at METU’s sustainability courses, and I am an instructor in accredited ESG advisor programs at both institutions. I have taught in more than eight cohorts of the Sustainable Business Academy’s Certified Sustainability Manager (CSM) program since its inception. I also play an active role in founding and serving on the advisory board of the Hungarian Sustainability Professionals Network, and I am co-founder and jury chair of the Sustainable Procurement Award.
In 2023, I was named among the Top 25 most recognized sustainability experts, and students of the CSM program have repeatedly awarded me the recognition of “most practice-oriented instructor”.
My passions include diversity and inclusion, supporting social entrepreneurs, and developing self-awareness – for example, through psychodrama.
I have more than 25 years of experience in sustainability performance measurement, reporting, data disclosure, and reporting standards (GRI, ESRS), as well as corporate EHS management, carbon footprint calculation, and SbTI-related work.
In 2021, I received the BCSDH Women Leaders Award for “achieving results with innovative development solutions and leading my teams to success.” In addition to my expert role, continuous development of my leadership skills is a priority for me.
I was responsible for preparing Hungary’s first sustainability report, was a member of the GRI Stakeholder Council, and as a GRI-certified trainer contributed to the training of over 120 professionals alongside Mandy Fertetics under the Alternate name.
I spent more than 10 years as EHS Manager at Grundfos Hungary before moving into a global role, and I currently serve as Global Head of Sustainable Finance at Grundfos.
At Alternate, I now participate as a silent partner and only occasionally teach or contribute to very few projects.
At the start of my career, I wasn’t sure where I was heading, but I soon realized I wanted work that goes beyond daily tasks and has a genuine positive impact on the world. I deliberately sought paths that intersected environmental protection, social responsibility, and systems thinking.
I earned my Master’s degree in Resource and Environmental Management at BME, studied urban development in the Netherlands, volunteered in climate-friendly municipal programs, and in 2023 obtained my Certified Sustainability Manager qualification. I also gained experience in multinational corporations in business development, client relations, reporting, and team leadership, which gave me firsthand insight into how organizations operate internally and how sustainability can be integrated.
As a sustainability consultant at Alternate, I have found my calling – combining my work experience with the values I believe in. I am primarily responsible for sustainability reporting and sustainable procurement, while also managing projects and client relations. Today, I do work where my professional expertise and personal values not only coexist but strengthen one another.
I have a degree in economics, and I furthered my studies in international communication and creative content development. This was the field I envisioned in my career, until I encountered the concepts of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility at a seminar.
I was immediately drawn to this – at the time – bold and innovative (economic) approach, which suggests that things can be done differently, that growth and value creation can be approached from alternative perspectives. I enjoy looking at issues from multiple perspectives, in cases questioning the status quo, and stepping outside established frameworks. For me, sustainable development as an alternative socio-economic model is a very inspiring field, which offers many opportunities for creativity and innovation.
Ultimately, I began my career in sustainability consulting in 2007. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to support numerous large corporations across various industries in developing their sustainability strategies and implementing their programs. I have significant experience in sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, and dialogue projects, as well as in the development of corporate communication content related to sustainability.
In the second half of my career, I returned to the fields of PR communication and marketing, and I gained experience at international headquarters of multinational companies.
As a result, I now have extensive professional experience in both sustainability and marketing communications, enabling me to support my clients as a consultant with comprehensive and integrated knowledge.
I am a sustainability professional with a background in economics and over 15 years of experience in both corporate and consulting environments. I have worked in multinational and construction industry settings, focusing on the integration of sustainability into business operations.
I believe that sustainability is not just about compliance, but about creating both business and societal value. For me, “green” is not a color, but a way of thinking and decision-making.
In my work, I support the development of ESG strategies, sustainability reporting, and supplier due diligence processes. I consider stakeholder engagement and measurable impact to be essential elements of effective sustainability practices.
I completed my studies in marketing, which I have complemented with specialized sustainability training (Corvinus University of Budapest – LCA; University of Public Service – ESG advisor).
I earned my MSc in Geography in 2025, and since September of the same year I have been a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Earth Sciences at the University of Szeged, as well as a sustainability intern at Alternate. Thanks to my family, I have paid attention to living sustainably from an early age. I mostly commute by bike, try to minimize my use of plastics, and strive for energy efficiency in daily life.
During my geography studies, I learned a lot about sustainability but had limited opportunities to approach the topic from a corporate perspective. I believe corporate efforts toward sustainability will be one of the key issues of the 21st century, and I want to contribute to these efforts to the best of my ability. At Alternate, I participate in various consulting projects, such as preparing double materiality benchmark analyses, updating sustainability reports, and liaising with clients’ supplier networks.
I consider community awareness-raising important — I have organized local events as part of the national “TeSzedd” litter collection initiative and sustainability challenges. Our research on micromobility and energy poverty, in which I was actively involved, received professional recognition.
I graduated from the International Management bachelor’s program at Jönköping University, and in the 2026/2027 academic year I will continue my studies in the International Strategic Management master’s program at Lund University. My experiences in Sweden have played a defining role in shaping how I think about sustainability. During my studies, I was introduced to the business side of sustainability, which sparked my interest in how sustainability considerations can be translated into strategic decisions and practical solutions in corporate operations.
I am particularly interested in international and intercultural relations, which I have experience through my studies in Sweden, my exchange semester in Portugal, and summer work experience in the United States. These experiences have helped me develop a more open mindset and the ability to think from multiple perspectives, which I consider essential in the field of sustainability.
At Alternate, I work as a sustainability intern, where I contribute to supporting consulting projects, updating sustainability reports, and maintaining contact with clients’ supplier networks.
As a fourth-year law student, it was clear to me from the very beginning of my studies that I wanted to contribute to environmental protection and a more sustainable future through the tools of law. I have always been strongly driven by a sense of responsibility towards environmental and social issues, and I have consciously oriented my academic path in this direction.
Through my studies and research to date, I have focused on sustainability primarily from a human rights and international law perspective.
I believe that achieving real change in the field of sustainability requires a well-designed regulatory and legal framework, especially in areas where the interests of future generations and society as a whole are at stake. My goal is to use legal tools to support processes that promote responsible practices at both individual and corporate levels.
I am motivated to contribute to a shift towards more conscious decision-making, both in everyday life and in business activities, and to help ensure that sustainability becomes not just a principle, but a practical foundation for operations. At Alternate, I work as a sustainability intern, supporting consulting projects and contributing to the preparation of sustainability reports, as well as training and awareness-raising materials.
